TERRANCE D. TILTON MATTAWAMKEAG – Terrance D. Tilton, 64, passed away March 24, 2008, at his home. He was born Oct. 19, 1943, in Mattawamkeag, the son of Elmer and Harriet (Speed) Tilton. Terry was a truck driver for Great Northern Paper Co. all of his life. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He is survived by two daughters and two grandchildren, Lorna Tilton and her son, Zachary Pelkey, of Mattawamkeag, and Tammi Tilton and her daughter, Jazmin Frenette, of Bangor; a sister, Judy Yost and her husband, Dick, of Millinocket; nieces and nephews, Gina Nadeau and her children, Rebecca and David, Rocky Odom and Jon Odom, all of Millinocket; and two aunts, Laura Shedd of Mattawamkeag and Betty Lancaster of Enfield. He was predeceased by his father, Elmer Tilton; and his mother, Harriet Carmody. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Mattawamkeag Baptist Church with the Rev.
