WALLAGRASS – Theresa Belanger, 78, died peacefully Jan. 16, 2006, at her residence surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. She was born May 5, 1927, in Wallagrass, the daughter of Romule and Mattie (Nadeau) Labonte. She was very dedicated to her children, grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Orine of Wallagrass; five children and their spouses, Francis Voisine and her husband, Ricky, of Eagle Lake, Jerry of Bristol, Conn., Ellery and his wife, Terry, of Southington, Conn., Jimmy and his wife, Francine, of Terryville, Conn. and Philip and his wife, Linda, of Southington, Conn.; one sister, Edwina Perreault of Waterbury, Conn., 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday until time of departure for Soldier Pond, at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Soldier Pond, with the Rev. Paul Labree, officiating. Spring burial will be at the parish cemetery May 19. Those who wish may donate in her memory to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743.
