LIMESTONE – Mrs. Theresa E. Nason, 83, wife of Wilmont N. Nason, went home to be with her Lord Sunday evening, Dec. 11, 2005, at a caribou nursing facility following an extended illness. She was born Sept. 24, 1922, at Littleton, the daughter of Ralph Sr. and Haddie (Sparks) Flewelling. Theresa attended local schools and was married to Wilmont N. Nason on Jan. 11, 1944. Theresa as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and had been a faithful and dedicated member of the Limestone Assembly of God since 1954, where she served as pianist, youth leader and Sunday school superintendent. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, knitting and crocheting. In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her stepmother, Lucy Flewelling; two brothers, Ralph Flewelling Jr. and Linwood Flewelling; four sisters, Florence Haley, Arlene Cosman, Norma Benjamen, Lois Donovan. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wilmont N. Nason of Limestone; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney E. and Janice Nason of Limestone, Wilmont G. “Bill” and Janet Nason of Caribou; one daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Carl Pelkey of Limestone; four brothers, Edward Flewelling of Nashville, Tenn., Joseph Flewelling and his wife, Nancy, of Levant, Frank Flewelling and his wife, Sally, of Winterport, Mark Flewelling of New York; seven grandchildren, Ralph Pelkey and his wife, Kelly, of Berwick, Walter Pelkey and his wife, Holly, of Portland, Terri Beth McCray of Limestone, Kerri Foster and her husband, David, of Augusta, Vicki Nason of Merrimack, N.H., Nicole Morris and her husband, David, of Waxahachie, Texas, Tiffany Nason and fianc?, T.J., of Oklahoma City, Okla.; five great-grandchildren, Samantha and Megan Pelkey of Berwick, Jessica and Kenny Foster of Augusta, Ella Morris of Waxahachie, Texas; sister-in-law, Hilda Flewelling of Orono; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 at the Limestone Assembly of God, 14 Church St., Limestone. A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the Limestone Assembly of God with the Rev. Robert Amuzzini, Rev. Roger Jewell and the Rev. Merritt Drost officiating. Friends may call noon until the time of service Wednesday at the church. A reception in memory of Mrs. Nason will be held at the church immediately following the service. Interment will take place at the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery, Caribou in the spring.
