TRENTON – Theresa “Terry” J. Robbins, 75, passed away unexpectedly July 16, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 11, 1933, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Valentine and Theresa Fardone. Terry worked for 38 years cooking at Trenton Elementary School. She also ran Penny’s Lunch for 16 years and made pastries at Union River Lobster Pot. She will be remembered for her skill in pie making. Terry enjoyed yard sales and playing Beano. She was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, Edwin W. Robbins in 1979. Terry is survived by her children, Penny Lyons and husband, Jim, of Trenton, Daniel Robbins and his late wife, Sherri, of Trenton, Gary Robbins and wife, Diana, of California, and Fred Robbins of Arizona; step-children, Mary Jane Piccirillo and husband, Adam, of Hampden, Sally Vardamis of Florida, Abbie Savage of Northeast Harbor, and Bill Robbins and his late wife, Faith, of Virginia; grandchildren, Amanda Lyons, Laura Conary and husband, Jason, Danny Robbins and Nikolaus Robbins; one great-granddaughter on the way, Sabrina Theresa Joy Conary; brothers, Val and John Fardone; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and Beano buddy, Laureen Leland of Trenton. Visiting hours will be held 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Ellsworth, where a service will be held 3 p.m. officiated by Pastor Bob Maddocks. Friends are invited immediately after the service for a time of fellowship and refreshments at Trenton Town Office.
