THIRZA M. ‘TEDDY’ MARTIN WASHBURN – Thirza M. Martin, 74, died May 21, 2008, at a local health care facility. She was born Feb. 16, 1934, in East Knox, the daughter of Maurice and Theda (Smith) Currier. She is survived by three sons, Cleve Maynard and his wife, Elizabeth, of Perham, Cecil Maynard, and Kenneth Maynard and his wife, Sharon, all of Washburn; five daughters, Toni Fournier and her husband, William, Tammy Mills and her husband, Lendall, all of Washburn, Tracy Bragg and her husband, Tom, Trudy O’Neal and her husband, Cary, and Trina Everret and her husband, Doug, all of Washburn; a brother, Richard Currier of Auburn, Ga.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Victoria and Sheila. Teddy was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Maynard; her second husband, Reginald Martin; and a brother, Dwynal Currier. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Riverside Extension Cemetery, Washburn with Pastor George McLaughlin officiating.
