BREWER – Thomas E. Duffey, 67, died Sept. 21, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 2, 1937, in Bangor, the son of Richard and Maxine (McLaughlin) Duffey. Tom attended Brewer and Bangor area schools. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1958. Tom worked at Eastern Fine Paper in his early years before he moved to California. He lived in Brewer the last several years. He is survived by two sons, Thomas E. Duffey II of Glenburn, Timothy E. Duffey of Brick, N.J.; a daughter, Robin Legere of Naples; a brother, Richard V. Duffey II, of Dedham; two sisters, Sue Thibodeau of Port Richie, Fla., Linda England of South Portland; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Dayna, Olivia and Shane. Services will be private for the family. Interment will be at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta. A service of Memorial Alternatives, 1225 Broadway, Bangor.
