BANGOR – Thomas H. Scanlon, 73, died Oct. 19, 2007, at his home. He was born May 19, 1934, in Woonsocket, R.I., the son of John and Florida (Ayotte) Scanlon. He attended Woonsocket schools. Tom served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He was employed by Webber Oil Co., and SAD No. 22, Hampden. Tom was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Surviving are his children, son, Thomas H. Scanlon Jr. and his wife, Cherie, of Windham; two daughters, Sherri Scanlon of Eddington and Terri Hall and her companion, Don Bianchin, of Orrington; grandchildren, Ryan Scanlon and his girlfriend, Val Nadeau, of Bradley, Jordan Scanlon and his wife, Joanie, of Windham and Tianna Baker and her husband, Trent, of Orlando, Fla.; great-grandson, Nolan Scanlon of Windham; a brother, George Scanlon and his wife, Karen, of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Carol Scanlon of Massachusetts; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, John Scanlon. Private interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.
