AMITY – Thomas R. Hall Sr., 69, died May 1, 2008, in Amity. He was born Nov. 20, 1938, in Weston, the son of Ruby (Willette) and stepfather, Cleve Hall. Thomas was a self appointed mayor of Amity and attended Amity Church. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria (Goodall) Hall of Amity; three children, Thomas R. Hall Jr. of Rochester N.H., Toby Ray Hall and his wife, Brenda, of Bridgewater, and Robin Jean Bashman and her husband, Jim, of Rochester, N.H.; four grandchildren, Adam Hall and his fianc?e, Melissa, Jennifer Hall, Kerry and Lucas Hasty; two brothers, William and his wife, Janice Hall, of Amity, and Donald and Marie Hall of Linneus; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and also best friends, Allen and Ida Glidden, John and Ann Walsh, and all the Ledgers, as well as many other friends. Friends may call 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, May 6, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held noon with the Rev. Reg Corey officiating. Interment will be at Estabrook Cemetery, Amity.
