MILFORD and ORONO Trent Bert Sanborn, 38, passed away Jan. 20, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 19, 1967, in Bangor, the son of Mary A. Sanborn. Trent grew up in Milford and was a graduate of Old Town High School Class of 1986. Growing up he enjoyed fishing, ice-skating and snowmobiling. He loved to study Egyptian history and culture. Trent had worked for Sears and Kmart in the automotive departments and later for the Ramada Inn in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Bangor Church of Christ. Trent is survived by his mother, Mary of Milford; his sister and brother-in-law, Tracey and Ralph Allen of Bangor; one nephew, Jacob Allen and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mabel and Bert Sanborn. The Sanborn family thanks the entire Eastern Maine Medical Center Staff for the wonderful care that Trent received over the years and a special thank you to Dr. Frederick Oldenburg for all he has done for Trent. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Bangor Church of Christ, 516 Union St., Bangor, with Evangelist Bruce Hudson, officiating.
