CARIBOU – Tristan R. LaChance, 20, died unexpectedly Jan. 22, 2005, at Presque Isle as the result of an automobile accident. He was born Feb. 7, 1984, in Presque Isle the son of Samuel and Kathleen (Hewitt) LaChance Jr. Tristan was a 2004 graduate of Presque Isle High School and was employed by Northeast Cinemas in Presque Isle. He was an avid photographer and will be remembered by many for his computer skills. Surviving in addition to his parents of Presque Isle, are his brother and sister-in-law, Kemuel and Jennilyn LaChance also of Presque Isle; his grandparents, Samuel and Rita LaChance Sr. of Caribou; aunts and uncles, Carla Hewitt of Tucson, Ariz., Carol Olson of Presque Isle Susan and Herman Surprenant of Brewer, and Flint and Lisa Hewitt of Caribou; five cousins, Frank, Tyler, Alicia, Amy and Crystal. Tristan will be greatly missed by his good friend, Angel Cray of Presque Isle. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with the Rev. David Goupille officiating.
