CARMEL – Valerie J. O’Donald Fogg, 44, beloved wife of Dana A. Fogg, passed away Jan. 7, 2006. She was born Dec. 22, 1961, in Bath, the daughter of Freda (Marcho) and David O’Donald. Valerie was a graduate of Hampden Academy, Class of 1980, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Husson College. She was a well-respected accountant and had been an accounting supervisor for Unicel and most recently Eastern Maine Healthcare. Valerie was a beautiful lady who devoted her life to taking care of her home and family. She was a talented artist and had a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful flower gardens and rock walls. Valerie and Dana enjoyed traveling and had many wonderful trips and saw many beautiful sunsets. She loved nature and animals, especially her two beloved cats, Abbie and Bob T. Valerie will be forever remembered as a wonderful and loving, wife, daughter, sister and friend to many. Valerie is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 20 years, Dana of Carmel; her parents, Freda and David O’Donald; three sisters and their husbands; Cindi and Joe Burke, Sue and Joe Souza and Sarah and Matt Dingle; two brothers and their wives, Rick and Renee O’Donald and Tim and Nyree O’Donald; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Bob and Cindy Fogg and Dick and Fran Fogg; one sister-in-law and her husband, Carol and Paul Simeone; mother-in-law, Ivy Fogg; two aunts, Deanna Marcho and Emily Brown and her husband, Norman, many nieces, nephews, cousins and greatly missed by her two cats, Abbie and Bob T. and her many friends and acquaintances. A celebration of Valerie’s life will be held 5-9 p.m. Thursday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
