ELLSWORTH – Vera N. Davis, 89, died Sept. 12, 2007, at her residence. She was born Feb. 4, 1918, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Minnie Conary and T. Chester Nevells. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Woodbine Cemetery, Ells-worth. Arrangements by Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
