STOCKTON SPRINGS – Ver-non Proctor Brett died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007. A memorial service celebrating Vernon’s life is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at First Congregational Church of Searsport, with the Rev. Dr. Arlin Larson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport.
