SEARSPORT – Virginia A. Huntley, 77, died peacefully Feb. 19, 2007, with her family at her side. Virginia was born Dec. 26, 1929, the daughter of Addie (Furbush) Harvey and Rodney Bolduc. Virginia deeply loved her family. She adored her two daughters, Patricia and Sandra. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked at local poultry plants for more than 28 years. She was a hard worker, fiercely independent and a woman who never wanted to impose on anyone. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Pearl Butler. Virginia is survived by her two daughters, Patricia A. Huntley of Eastbrook and Sandra J. Bagley and her husband, Leigh, of Searsport; two grandchildren, Anthony Bagley and his wife, Katie, Angela Tower and her husband, Gregory; four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Brooke and Drew Bagley and Ryker Tower, all of Searsport; two brothers, Lionel King and his wife, Becky and Earl Nickerson and his wife, Alice, all of Belfast; several nieces and nephews; and her very special niece, Velma Scott of Orono; and her dear cousin, Violet Hanson of Brooks. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Activity Fund, Harbor Hill, 2 Footbridge Road, Belfast, ME 04915. The family wishes to thank the staff at Harbor Hill for the loving care of their mother. Burial will be in the spring.
