BANGOR – Virginia T. Clark, wife of the late James M. Clark, died Jan. 13, 2007. She was born Oct. 5, 1914, in Princeton, the daughter of Isaac and Almira (Chadbourne) Tupper. Virginia graduated from Princeton High School in 1933 and from Nurses Training School at Eastern Maine Medical Center in 1936. She was predeceased by her husband, James; and eight siblings, six brothers, Frank, Ernest, Clifford, Lindsay, Donald and Edwin; and two sisters, Gertrude Clark and Irene Ingerson. Surviving is her son, Michael J. Clark and his wife, Janice; two granddaughters, Amy Badger and her husband, Philip, and Cali Martell and her husband, Alex; a cherished great-grandson, Aubrey Bad-ger; a devoted niece, Virginia Weaver; nephews, Jimmy Collins, Brad Ingerson, Ron Tupper; and nieces, Ruth Jones, Noreen Lilja and Mary Ellen Fraser. A graveside memorial service for the family will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1048 State St., Bangor, with the Rev. Stephanie Salinas, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bangor, officiating. Those attending are asked to gather 1:45 p.m. at the State Street entrance at the Superintendents Lodge. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor, after the graveside service.
