HOULTON – W. Warden Boone, 85, died May 24, 2006, at a local healthcare facility. He was born Dec. 1, 1920, in North Lake, N.B., Canada, the son of Arlington and Hazel (MacFawn) Boone. Warden was a member of the East Hodgdon Union Church, a member of the Town and Country Senior Citizens Club and a member of the Orangeman’s Lodge of Canada. He was the manager of Houlton Motors Sales for more than 25 years and worked at Day’s Jewelry Store for five years. Warden is survived by his children, David W. Boone and his wife, Jean, of Phillipsburg, N.J., Barbara Heinselman and her husband, Russ, of Brookline, N.H., Evelyn Jack and her husband, Bill, of Rolling Meadows, Ill., Lois Hartse and her husband, Karl, of Sheridan, Wyo., Helen Cooper and her husband, Dave, of McHenry, Ill., Marjorie Parks and her husband, Tim, of New Gloucester; his grandchildren Kerry Savinsky and her husband, Dave, Stephanie Jones and her husband, Chris, Lauri Ashford and her husband, Josh, Craig Heinselman and his wife, Angel, Andy Jack and his wife, Kathy, Daniel Jack and his wife, Marj, Brian Jack, Erik Hartse, Tavia and Steven Cooper, Mandy and Vicky Parks; his great-grandchildren Alexandria and Christopher Jones, Cheyenne and Cole Heinselman, Ian and Emma Jack; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Muriel; his brothers, Arthur and Delbert; and his sister, Mary Herbert. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Scott Taylor officiating. Interment will be held in the East Hodgdon Cemetery.
