WEST ENFIELD – Walter E. West, 75, died July 27, 2008, at a Lincoln health care facility. He was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Kingston, N.H., the son of Henry and Blanche (Brickett) West. He is survived by one stepson, Joe Solomon and his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Clayton and Nathan, all of Passadumkeag; three brothers, Andrew West of Warren, N.H., Bernard West and family of Salisbury, Mass., and Errol West and family of Epping, N.H.; two sisters, Barbara Currie and family of Dover, N.H., and Elizabeth Akley and family of Freemont, N.H. He also leaves behind special friend, Donna Paul of Brownville. In addition to his parents, Walter was predeceased by his first wife, Martha (Clemons); and their son, Alan West; second wife, Elaine (McLaughlin); and two brothers, Eugene West and Wesley West. Walter enjoyed woodworking in his shop for many years, trips to the Maine coast, and his two grandsons. Graveside services will be announced at a later date.
