TORONTO – Walter Everett McLaughlin died unexpectedly April 27, 2008, in his Toronto home. He was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Ortonville, New Brunswick, the only son of the late Benjamin R. and Gertrude (Everett) McLaughlin. He was a retired veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He leaves to mourn his wife, Beryl S. McLaughlin; his daughter, Mary Ruth McLaughlin of Toronto, Ontario; his sister, Mrs. Sam (Frances) Rideout of Augusta; his sister, Lois Ruth and her husband, John Wetmore, of Kamloops, British Columbia; his niece, Heather and husband, Paul Frost, of Vancover, British Columbia; nephews, Aidan and Rowan Frost of Vancover, British Columbia; also sister-in-law, Dorothy Henwood of Amherst, Nova Scotia; many nieces, nephews and friends. At Water’s request, burial will be private in Ortonville, New Brunswick, at United Baptist Church at a later date.
