WINTERPORT – Walter Matthew “Jess” Juskiewicz, 62, husband of Dorothy (Sak) Juskiewicz, passed away unexpectedly July 16, 2006, surrounded by his family at a local hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1943, in Montague, Mass., the son of John and Anna (Brostowski) Juskiewicz Sr. Walter was a graduate of Turners Falls High School, Class of 1961, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He married his high school sweetheart, the former Dorothy E. Sak, June 25, 1966. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church of Winterport. Walter was a medical supply salesman for Adco Medical Supply for almost 20 years. He enjoyed golf and traveling but most of all he enjoyed caring for and spending time with his granddaughters. Walter will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who devoted his life to his family. He always lived life to the fullest because he believed “life was too short.” Walter is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Dottie of Winterport; his son, Matthew S. Juskiewicz and his wife, Cindy, of Gorham; his adored granddaughters and loves of his life, Jamie and Sarah; one aunt, Gladys Brostowski of Greenfield, Mass.; his special mother-in-law, Helen Sak; one niece and one nephew; and very special friends, Tricia and Brian Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Winterport with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt, pastor celebrant. Friends may call 10 a.m. Thursday until time of departure for the church at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. Interment will be at the Juskiewicz family lot in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Montague, Mass.
