CARIBOU – Warren A Stetson, 84, died June 8, 2005, at Caribou. He was born Feb. 15, 1921, at the son of Warren and Elsie Mae (Briggs) Stetson Sr. Mr. Stetson served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed by several area farmers. He was married to the late Thelma (Bucklin) Stetson who predeceased him May 27, 2004. He is survived by one daughter, Mary Vetterline of Gorham; one son, Philip Stetson of Augusta; one brother, George Stetson of Wade; two grandchildren, Sonja and Richard; eight great-grand-children; several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at a later date at Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mr. Stetson may do so through the Maine Veterans Home memorial fund. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou.
