PRESQUE ISLE – Warren V. York Sr., 59, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, New Bruns-wick. He was born Feb. 13, 1949, in Presque Isle, son of Essie (Sturgeon) York and the late Acil David York. Warren was a former auto mechanic. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Anna Rayne; his mother, Essie York; his children, Warren York Jr. of Mechanic Falls, Tim York of Biddeford, Kimberly Whipkey and her husband, Donald, of Washburn; six grandchildren, Haleigh, Logan, Cameron, Amanda, Joseph and Reagan; eight brothers, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one brother and two sisters. Calling hours will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday with a celebration of life at 8 p.m. at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle.
