NASHUA, N.H. – Wayne B. Hardy, 71, died Feb. 25, 2008. He was born May 6, 1936, in Houlton, the son of Basil and Tessa Hardy. Wayne attended Houlton schools and graduated from Houlton High School, after which he spent four years in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Wayne is survived by his wife, Diane Oliver Hardy of Nashua, N.H.; one son, Paul Hardy of Pensacola, Fla.; one daughter, Ann Hardy of White, Ga., three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Michael G. Hardy of Windham, N.H.; two sisters, Noreen Quint of Hodgdon and Lucy Redner of Forest Ranch, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both his parents. Donations may be made in Wayne’s memory to Church of Christ, 97 Farley Road, Nashua, NH 03063. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Boscawen Cemetery, N.H.
