ENFIELD – Wayne Dale Littlefield, 68, husband of Frances “Tootsie” Littlefield, died March 1, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 8, 1937, in Howland, the son of Charles A. and Helene (Faloon) Littlefield. Wayne was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed living at the lake, sitting by the fireplace and cookouts with his many, many friends and family members. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Bruce Littlefield, Scott and Megaen Littlefield, Darlene and David Ploch, Steven and Tammy Littlefield and Wayne and Ruth Littlefield; 12 grandchildren, Brandon Soucier, Kyle Smith, Arica and Ben Gagnon, Jolie Littlefield, Riley, Taylor and Jameson Ploch, Allison McLaughlin, Haylee and Jonathan Littlefield and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Camden and Blake Gagnon and Camryn Smith; three sisters, Louise Ham, Merle Thibodeau and Sheila Rossignol; and special aunt and uncle, Hattie and Carl Laing. He was predeceased by siblings, Austin, George, Sylvia Nutter, Harriet Davis, Fay and Dorothy Packard. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 3, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Emma Jean Cook, officiating. Spring interment will be in Town Line Hill Cemetery.
