GARLAND – Wendell B. McComb, 90, died Jan. 31, 2007, at a Dexter health care facility. He was born Aug. 22, 1916, at Garland, a son of Charles and Martha (Hubbard) McComb. Wendell was a self employed woodsman in Garland for many years. He is survived by a sister, Sara Libby of Old Town and Florida; several nieces and nephews; as well as, special friends, Herb Tenney, Beverly Dyer, Bob Sweeney, Dick and Beana Turner. He was predeceased by brothers, Daniel and Frederick McComb; and sisters, Alice Lee and Olive Sawyer. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St., Dexter.
