NEW SWEDEN – Wendy Anne Boody, 55, died Jan. 23, 2005, at Caribou after a six-month battle with cancer. She was born March 6, 1949, in Wakefield, Mass., the daughter of J. Henry and Arlene (Whitehouse) Vik. Following a career in banking where she rose to vice president. Wendy followed her love of antiques to become a full time antique dealer. In 2001, she and her husband, Peter G. Boody relocated their business from Wakefield to Northern Maine. Surviving in addition to her husband of New Sweden are her daughter, Liza Mokler; son, Seth Mokler; grandson, Calvin, all of New Sweden; sister, Jackie Cumbie of Bradenton, Fla.; brother, John Vik of Westford, Mass.; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Wakefield. Friends who wish to contribute in Wendy’s memory may do so through the charity of one’s choice.
