He was a devout Catholic and a communicant at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He was well liked in the Dover-Foxcroft community and will be missed by friends and family. He was predeceased by his siblings, Leone Babin Huff, Verna Babin Spear, Lawrence Babin and Helen Babin Klemek; and by a grandson, Robert Gomez. He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Babin Gomez of Canyon Country, Calif.; by grandchildren, Jessie and Katrina Gomez; by a niece, Sally Clifford of Brewer; and by eight nephews. A memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father James Robichaud, celebrant. Graveside services will be conducted on a date to be determined in the summer of 2008, and he will be buried alongside his parents at Rural Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft.
