PRINCETON – William Fred Moholland Sr., 63, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. Billy was born Oct. 30, 1942, in Calais, son of the late Fred and Mavis (McPhail) Moholland. He married Susan Little on Oct. 1, 1983. Upon his father’s death in 1992, Billy took over his fathers business, Moholland Trucking and changed the name to B&S Trucking & Sons. He was a member of the Spednic Club in Baileyville for 25 years, St. Croix Country Club and enjoyed bowling, pool, horseshoes, darts, golf and riding his motorcycle. Billy was predeceased by his sister, Lillian Black. Surviving are his loving wife of more than 22 years, Susan; five children, Billy Moholland Jr. of Lincoln, Jodie Moholland and fiance, Joe, of Pittsfield, Brock Moholland and wife, Amy, of Ellsworth, Jay Moholland and wife, Erica, and Randy Moholland and fiance, Sonya, of Princeton; a brother, John Moholland of Chester; five grandchildren, Brandon, Britton, Brandon, Brenna, and J.J.; a special aunt, Audria McCurdy; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and dear friends. Also surviving is his faithful canine companion, Joker. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais.
