SHERMAN – William Crampton, 82, died Jan. 15, 2008, in Bangor. He was born Aug. 21, 1925, in Balti-more, the son of William and Ruth (Nichols) Crampton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by two daughters, Sandra and her husband, Brian McNally, of Sherman, and Nancy and her husband, Bradford Vining, of Yarmouth; five grandchildren, Jason and his wife, Barbara, Keith and his wife, Nicole, Glenn and his wife, Rachel, and Alex and Miranda; and one great-grandson, Jebediah. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Gloria; and one infant daughter, Joyce. A funeral service will be held Saturday in Baltimore.
