PRESQUE ISLE – William E. Lossez, 59, died Aug. 22, 2004, at his residence. He was born Nov. 23, 1944, in Hartford, Conn., the son of William E. and Rose (Melluzzo) Lossez, Sr. He was a member of the Mapleton United Baptist Church, where he was active in many of the Church’s activities. In addition to his mother of Clearwater, Fla., he is survived by his wife, Marina (Smith) Lossez of Presque Isle; a daughter and her husband, Marcy and Todd Pooler; a granddaughter, Mandy Pooler, all of Caribou; a sister, Marie “Mimi” Jones of Dunedin, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mapleton United Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Phelps officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
