CARIBOU – William Joseph Warner, 82, beloved husband of Pauline (Hull) Warner, died un-expectedly Nov. 9, 2003, at his Caribou residence. He was born Dec. 7, 1920, at Caribou, the son of Edward and Olive (Belanger) Warner. He was a World War II, U.S. Army veteran. A Caribou resident for most of his life, he was employed by the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad as supervisor of the car repair yard. He retired after 28 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 62 years of Caribou; three sons, Eddie Warner and his wife, Loraine, of Hermon, Gary Warner and his wife, Marilyn, of Limestone, Dale Warner and his wife, Marilyn, of Fort Fairfield; three daughters, Mary Pelkey of Caribou, Doni Gauronski of Redlands, Calif., Olive Bouchard and her husband, Roger, of Caribou; one brother, Dennis “Eluclid” Warner of Florida; two sisters, Evelyn Merrithew of Perth, New Brunswick, Olive Nichols of Newport; 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; six brothers, Lionel Warner, Paul Warner, Ovila Warner, Oscar Warner, Richard Warner and Edgar Warner; three sisters, Emma Rossignol, Bernice Sprague, Leona Brown; a grandson, Roger Allen Bruner; and two sons-in-law, James Pelkey and Al Gauronski. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today at the chapel of the Lancaster and Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou, with Fr. Clement Thibodeau officiating. Military Committal services will be held at the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery, Caribou. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of ones choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
