HOWLAND – William M. Engemann, 51, died Jan. 8, 2005, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. Kind-hearted, quick to laugh and sentimental, Bill gave his best to everyone. Talented in any craft, hobby or repair he pursued, he always took the time to show or teach others. He was an outdoorsman and lover of family. Bill was a veteran of the Seabees and later signed up as a reservist for Desert Storm. He worked on or for military contractors or military installations for approximately 20 years as an asbestos rip-out specialist. He received many commendations for his skill and leadership in the trade. Bill will be dearly missed by his wife, June Engemann of Howland; son, Edward Engemann of Jacksonville, Fla.; father, George J. Engemann of Headland, Ala.; sister, Colleen N. Coyne of South Portland; and his two nieces, Anne K. Coyne, and Lindsay Anderson, of Fort Worth, Texas. He was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor E. Goddard, and brother, Edward R. Engemann.
