BELFAST – Wilma Elmita Wight, 78, of Belfast died Oct. 1, 2004. Born in March 26, 1926, Frankfort, Germany the daughter of Frank and Elma Behymer. Wilma married the late Stewart A. Wight Oct. 9, 1975, in Belfast. She enjoyed cooking, Sci-Fi and western movies, traveling and reading. She was a Sunday School Teacher for many years and a Girl Scout Leader, which she loved very much. Wilma was predeceased by her husband, Stewart Oct. 9, 1975. She is survived by three children, Sherrie and her husband, Steven Tompson, of Stockton Springs and New Hampshire, Richard Huffman and his wife, Harriet, of Brooks and Alfred Smith; two brothers, Clair “Dutch” Behymer of Belfast and Claires Behymer of Iowa; two adopted siblings, Carolyn Crawford and Joyce Robbins, both of Iowa; five grandchildren, Shoune, Roy, Greg, Tim and Tiffany; and four great-grandchildren, Michael, Adrienne, Logan and Jenna. Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at the Faith Temple Church of God, Belfast. Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at the East Belfast Cemetery.
