SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Wilma “Tootie” Sleeper Hansotte, 79, beloved wife of Louis Hansotte died peacefully March 15, 2006, in San Diego, Calif. She was born June 23, 1926, in Sherman, the daughter of Ronal and Grace Hoffestetter Sleeper. She graduated from Island Falls High School and attended Maine School of Commerce. She worked several years for the Soil Conservation Department in Island Falls and Orono. After her marriage she moved to California. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Beth Marcelle-Hansotte of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, Jeffery Hansotte of Santee, Calif.; and a brother, Dr. Joe Sleeper of Lincoln. She was predeceased by a sister, Jean Sleeper Cratty, of Sun City, Ariz. A memorial service was held April 3, at Rosencrans National Cemetery, Point Loma, Calif.
