WLADYSLAW ROBERT LUSZCZYNSKI YORK – Wladyslaw Robert Luszczynski died Sept. 21, 2005, in York. Robert was born Dec. 10, 1929, Koloniec, Poland, to Marianna and Wlaclaw Luszczynski. He grew up in Coueron, France, immigrated to the United States in 1955, and received his Ph.D. in French Literature from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. He taught at the University of Maine at Orono for 25 years before retiring in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Laura of Ogunquit; his daughters, Halina, of Dallas, Texas Aida of Boston, Mass., and Anna of Miami, Fla.; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Kazia Sramski, of Paris, France. There are no services.
