DANFORTH and ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Woodrow “Bill” R. Mckay, 67, died March 31, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 7, 1937, at Houlton, the son of Russell W. and Margaret Jane (London) McKay. Bill served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by the Lydall, Inc. of Manchester, Conn., until his retirement. He loved hunting, fishing and spending winters in Florida. Bill will be remembered for his dry sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father and grampie. Bill is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Graham) McKay of Danforth; four daughters, Roxanne Fish and her husband, Troy, of Weston, Jaimie McKay of Danforth, Janet McKay Brewer and her husband, Billy, of Bridgewater, Kelly McKay of Danforth; eight grandchildren, Andrea, Josh, Ryan, Alexandra, Chelsea, B.J., Gabrielle and Sammy; four sisters, Joyce Roach and her husband, Arnold, of Smyrna, Betty Mochan of Manchester, Conn., Tessa Albert of Ludlow, Pam Swimm and her husband, Dale, of Monticello; one brother, Robert McKay and his wife, Ginny, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy McKay. A graveside service will be announced at a later date by the Dunn Funeral Home.
