BANGOR – Yevone Loraine Brownrigg, 83, died June 10, 2008, at a Brewer health care facility. She was born Dec. 28, 1924, in Queens, N.Y., the daughter of Samuel and Irene (Cosby) LaBree. Yevone worked as an accounting clerk for the city of Bangor for a many years, until her retirement. In addition to her parents and a sister, she was predeceased by her loving husband, William James Brownrigg Jr., in 1988. She is survived by a dear friend, Deanna Harris and husband, Barry, of Otis; and several distant relatives. A service of remembrance will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Rex Garrett, director of chaplaincy services at Eastern Maine Medical Center, officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Augusta. Gifts in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
