OLD TOWN – Yoshie Wilson, 80, died June 16, 2004, at an Orono healthcare facility. She was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Japan. Yoshie worked at the Wells Commons at the University of Maine for many years, and was active in the VFW She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, and enjoyed traveling. Yoshie is survived by one daughter, Donna Lounsbury and her husband, Joseph Jr., of Florida; grandchildren, Jason Lounsbury of Atlanta, Ga., and Melissa Lounsbury of Cincinnati, Ohio; cousins, Bill Leonard of Poland Springs and Emma Dumont of West Brook; nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Brookings-Smith Old Town Chapel, 205 Main St., Old Town, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Ronald Chaffee, officiating. Interment will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
