DOVER-FOXCROFT and BOOTHBAY HARBOR – Yvonne D. Geeve, 64, died April 13, 2007, at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 22, 1943, in Chicago, the daughter of Henry Geeve and Dorothy (Glad) Menyea. Yvonne was a graduate of Stockton State College, New Jersey, and received a master’s degree in education at Harvard University. She had worked in both the Dover-Foxcroft and Boothbay Harbor areas as a property manager. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Genevieve C. Geeve. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy of Dover-Foxcroft; two brothers, Henry “Bud” Geeve of Indiana and Ronald Geeve of Florida; two nephews, Michael Geeve and his wife, Michelle and Timothy Geeve and his wife, Chris; an aunt, Betty Jurewicz of Florida; one great-nephew, Tyler Geeve; and two great-nieces, Tara and Mikayla Geeve. She will be sadly missed by special friend and caregiver, Irene Thomas of Dover-Foxcroft and remembered by several friends. A private committal service will be held in the family lot at Dover Cemetery, later in the spring. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Genevieve C.
