TERRYVILLE, Conn. Yvonne (Morin) Caron, 87, wife of the late Paul J. Caron Sr., died on Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Fla. Mrs. Caron was born Dec. 4, 1916, in Van Buren, and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Vaillancourt) Morin. She was formerly a longtime Wallagrass, resident before moving to Bristol, Conn., in 1979, then moving to Terryville in 1994. She was a member of St. Ann Church, Bristol. Mrs. Caron is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul J. Caron Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y., Henry and Beverly Caron, and Harold Caron, all of Bristol, Conn.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Yvette and Leonard Michaud of Plymouth, Rita and Bruce Taker of Torrington, and Bernadette and Lewellyn Morneault of Fort Kent; two sisters, Rita Matthews and Gertrude Hall of Lisbon Falls; 27 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a special godchild, Barbara Wilde; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Leo and Roger Caron; a daughter, Annette Michaud; two grandchildren, Kenneth Michaud and Sandra McGrath; and a very special niece, Lotti Caron. Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, Conn., where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2004.
