FORT KENT – Ziona “Zizi” C. Straub, 66, died Feb. 15, 2008, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Jan. 5, 1942, in Haifa, Israel, the daughter of Ernst and Edith (Oesterreicher) Hirsch. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved to be with her children and grandchildren. She was the Director of Religious Education for St. Louis Parish and was also very active in her parish community, and always had a great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband, William Dolan; and her second husband, Noel Straub. She is survived by her three children, Carolyn A. Britten of Mission, Texas, Debbie Dolan of Fort Kent and Kelly Kuhl and her husband, Charles, of Woodbridge, Va.; and three grandchildren, Christian Y. Britten, Brandon C. and Byron D. Kuhl. Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be held May 9 at the parish cemetery.
