BANGOR – Zylpha I. Burns, 92, wife of the late Kenneth R. Burns, died Dec. 19, 2004, at a local healthcare facility. She was born March 17, 1912, in Bangor the daughter of Arthur and Ellen (Lord) Fogg. She lived all her life at 2413 Ohio St., Bangor and was known and loved by her neighbors. Zylpha is survived by two sisters, Betty and her husband, George Wakefield, of Michigan, Harriet Applebee of Hermon; a devoted sister-in-law, Ivy (Rediker) Fogg of Bangor. She was very close to her nieces and nephews, Bob Fogg, Dana Fogg, Dick Fogg, Carol Simeone, and their children. She was predeceased by her brother, Alfred Fogg in 1984.
