TREMONT, Maine — A local woman faces criminal charges after police broke apart an alleged underage drinking party at her home.
Rose Gray, 50, has been charged with providing a place for minors to consume alcohol and with disorderly conduct, according to Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Thornton.
Lt. Tim Cote of the Sheriff’s Department said Thornton discovered the party Wednesday evening while working on another case.
In connection with the same incident, Joshua Matteson, 21, of Tremont was charged with aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs and furnishing alcohol to minors, according to Thornton’s report. Cote said the aggravated furnishing charge stems from Matteson allegedly providing marijuana to minors.
Cameron Colbeth, 20, of Swans Island was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor. A 16-year-old Tremont girl was charged with providing a place for minors to consume alcohol and a 17-year-old girl, also from Tremont, was charged with aggravated furnishing of a scheduled drug, possession of a usable amount of marijuana, and possession of alcohol by a minor. Their names were not released because they are juveniles.
