CAMDEN – Claude D. Athearn, 95, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, surrounded by his family, at Penobscot Bay Medical Center, Rockport. A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. A reception will be immediately after at 104 Limerock St., with interment after at Achorn Cemetery. The Rev. Laura Edwards will officiate.
