BURLINGTON – Douglas l. Bradbury, 70, husband of Nancy (Curtis) Bradbury, passed away Oct. 9, 2008, at his home. He was born Feb. 27, 1938, in Lincoln, the son of Albert and Avis (Bowers) Bradbury. Doug was a generous and caring man who loved the outdoors. He was a logging contractor most of his life. In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his mother and stepfather, Avis and Russell Noyes; his brother, Dean and his wife, Fran; special nephew, Dan Bradbury; niece, Karen Drapeau and her husband, Tim; great-nephew and great-niece, Noah and Abby Drapeau; stepchildren, Susan, Tammy, Claude, Rosemary, Mitchell, Gwendolyn, Jamie and Carl; and stepgrandchildren, Cameron and Rylee Harding, Shelby Savage and Josh Fernald. Doug will be missed by his special friends, Jerome Thurlow and Linwood Batchelder. He was predeceased by his father. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Mitch Bickford officiating.
