PORTLAND – Annika Rose Hughes went home to be with the Lord, Oct. 11, 2008. In your short time with us you touched us deeply. You will always be in our hearts and forever cherished our dear daughter and sister. Annika is survived by her loving mother and father, Rachelle (LaPlante) and Christopher Hughes of Brunswick; her two sisters, Krista and Ava; and grandparents, Beatrice Paul of Brighton, and Kenneth and Nancy Hughes of Dexter. A private family service will be held at Mount Rest Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan.
