HOWLAND – Marion Avis Wise, 85, passed away Oct. 13, 2008, at a Howland health care facility. She was born July 26, 1923, in Lincoln, the daughter of Arthur W. and Helena (Milheron) Millett. She is survived by two children, David Rich of Lincoln and Jackie Laufenberg of Colorado; a sister, Lucille Wiswell of Orrington; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by two children, Richard Rich and Lynn Pete; and two brothers, Arthur P. Millett and Gerald Millett Sr. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Oct. 24 at Lincoln Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Young officiating. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
