SHARON LEE RAYMOND JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sharon Lee Raymond, wife of the late Gerald Raymond Sr., and formerly of Holyoke, Mass., died Sept. 26, 2008, at Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 7, 1944, in Milford, to the late Arlene (Currier) Hesseltine and the late Charles Reginald Hesseltine Sr. Sharon is survived by her son, Gerald Raymond Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Riverview, Fla.; daughters, Cheryl Personette and her husband, Rick, of Middletown, Conn., and Bobbi-Jo Fenner and her husband, Gerry, of Jacksonville, Fla., with whom she made her home; and four grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Jordan and Jamie Lee of Riverview, Fla. Also surviving are her sister, Gloria Jenkins of Bangor; brothers, Clair and his wife, Marie, of Milford, Stanley, Richard and his wife, Judy, all of Costigan, Lawrence and his wife, Judy, of Lincoln and Bruce and his wife, Susan, of Meriden, Conn.; sister-in-law, Betty Hesseltine of Milford; brother-in-law, Joe Miller of Connecticut; many, many, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward; and sisters, Linda Atherton and Delores Miller. Sharon wanted all to know how the love and kindness of everyone in her large family sustained her and her husband throughout their shared illness. He died June 20, 2007, in Holyoke, Mass., of lung cancer. Funeral services were held Oct. 12, at Milford Cemetery, Milford. Pastor Stan Griffin, of Corner Stone Baptist Church, Exeter, officiated.
