DANFORTH – Robert J. Armstrong, 17, died Oct. 17, 2008, in Hodgdon, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born March 20, 1991, in Concord, N.H., son of Paul and Karen (Kidder) Armstrong II. Robert was a senior at Hodgdon High School and worked at Grammie’s Country Inn. In addition to his parents of Danforth, he is survived by his maternal grandfather, Marjarino “Sharky” Ascani of Bow, N.H.; paternal grandfather, Paul R. Armstrong of Houlton; three sisters, Judith, Kimberly and Jennifer, all of Danforth; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother, James Eric; and grandmothers, Judith Armstrong and Elizabeth Ascani. A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at Hodgdon High School with the Rev. Richard McLaughlin, the Rev. David Tuttle and the Rev. Mark Lunn officiating. A reception will be held immediately after in the high school commons. Interment will be at Danforth Cemetery.
