PRESQUE ISLE and CARIBOU – David Nalley, 86, died Oct. 22, 2008, in Caribou. He was born Dec. 25, 1921, in Clintonville, W.Va., the son of the late Roy and Bertha (Lewis) Nalley. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II, serving with the 32nd Ordinance Ammunition Co. during the Rhineland Central Europe Battle/Campaign. After his military service, he was employed as a truck driver for Mobil Oil for many years. David loved the outdoors and enjoyed music. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Beulah (Cochran) Nalley of Presque Isle, are six sons, Nathan Nalley of Somersworth, N.H., Larry Nalley of New Haven, Conn., Howard and Joseph Nalley, both of Long Island, N.Y., Robert Steve Nalley of White Sulfur Spring, W.Va., and Terrance Nalley of Lewisburg, W.Va.; two daughters, Nancy Moore of Ronceverte, W.Va., and Elizabeth Twitty of Covington, Va.; two stepdaughters, Colleen Cochran of Presque Isle and Patricia Rand of Caribou; one brother, Howard Nalley of Arizona; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where services will be held 1 p.m. with the Rev.
