MARY M. (SHAIN) TILTON

LAGRANGE – Mary M. (Shain) Tilton died Nov. 13, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 25, 1944, in Milo, to William and Eileen (Wylie) Shain. She graduated from Brownville Junction High School. Mary worked for many years for Dexter Shoe Co., but her most rewarding job was for Dr. Ronald and Dixie Lott at Timberland Animal Hospital, Orono, where she worked for many years. Her love of animals was well known and she adopted many dogs and cats in her lifetime. She is survived by an aunt and uncle, Hazen and Ginny Wylie of South Portland; special cousin, Irene Thomas of Dover-Foxcroft; and several other cousins. Memorial services to be announced at a later date.
